Originally
known as The Genesee River Hotel, the Genesee River
Restaurant and Reception Center has been run by
the same family since 1962. Marty Estruch, the current
owner, grew up in the business and purchased it from
his father in 1980.
Marty
has built on his father's success and changed the
restaurant's persona from a bar and restaurant to
a full-service restaurant and reception center. The
current banquet facilities were added in 1991 and
are capable of seating 1,000 people throughout the
three banquet rooms.

Our
Executive Chef, Philipp Mehlenbacher, has mastered his
craft at some of the finest establishments on the East
Coast...the Sheraton Sand Key and Safety Harbor Resort
and Spa in Florida, and the Glen Iris Inn in nearby
Letchworth State Park. With his first class experience
and fresh nouveau style, he has proven to be a welcome
addition to the Genesee River Restaurant and Reception
